A Quilt for Megan's Wedding Shower ...There is nothing more rewarding than creating that something special for your daughter.  This quilt pattern by Jane Miller was one of my most challenging projects.  This quilt was made for my daughter Megan's Bridal Shower. Having a Fall wedding I was looking for colors that were reflective of the season. Congratulations Megan & Todd!

This Mary Englebright Quilt, pieced by Marianne was indeed one of the most fun quilts I have had the privilege of quilting.  Every quilt is a work of art and this quilt was no exception, What a wonderfully  beautiful pallet of color.  Great job Marianne and I hope Lisa enjoys her new treasure!

Sharon's Quilt

I am always energized when I find someone who is relatively new to this wonderful craft.  This is Sharon's first large quilt ad I am so grateful that she chose me to complete the final phase of quilting.  I just love the  colors, plus the pattern was a wonderful choice.  I quilted with Patricia Ritter's panto of "Violets are Blue"   http://www.urbanelementz.com/  Great job Sharon!

Pat's Kitchen Quilt

Quilting for customers can be a wonderful challenge.  Finding just the right design to add to the beauty of their creation can be such fun.  In this beautiful quilt Pat was replicating a work that was done so very long ago.  I chose to quilt with a leaves and apples. ( A Patricia Ritter Design Panto)   After the quilting was complete, I returned it to Pat and with red thread she hand sewed in cherries and apples into the white squares.  Wow such a wonderful touch.  Great job Pat!  .

Emigma

What do I do with free time?  Well, I don't have much extra time but when I do I find a project that has simplicity and color.  This is a fun fat quarter pattern that went together with little effort and has a dramatic effect as a whole quilt.  I will keep this one just for me!

Fundraiser for Maria

This quilt was made as a fundraiser for a young woman in need of a double lung transplant.  Pieced by friend Marianne, it was then given to me which I quilted on Valentine's Day.  I could not think of a better way to share the gift of love with someone so in need.  This was quilted with Ribbons of Love and with the hope that Maria gets that transplant and finds a total recovery.  Please keep Maria Lippre in your prayers and if you would like to contribute to the cause please visit the website at: http://www.abreathformaria.wordpress.com/

Quilting for customer Pat

This beautiful wall hanging was pieced and by customer Pat with imported silks from Japan.  I used Superior Rainbow Thread for the quilting and a  special pantograph to enhance its color and beauty.
